Sins of a Solar Empire

In Sins of a Solar Empire, gamers must conquer planets and defeat their enemies to become the most menacing force in space. Both single- and multiplayer action takes place in real-time, and gamers may choose to play alone or challenge friends to a "domination fest." To survive the hostile world, players must align with one of three factions: The Advent, the Vasari Empire, or the Trade Emergency Coalition. Each group is vying for top spot and may use force, technological research, democracy, alliances, and devious trickery to obtain the position. For example, the game features a bounty hunting system where gamers may silently offer a reward for the destruction of a particularly annoying enemy unit. Players who would rather stay honest may use the diplomacy system to compromise with their adversaries instead of gaining power through illicit actions. Aside from combat, gamers colonize planets and harness resources that can improve a variety of their faction's functions. The "Game of the Year Edition" also includes a tech-tree poster and a CD featuring music from the game. ~ Gracie Leach, All Game Guide

Reputation Guide for WoW Dailies

The moment you reach level 80, you may want to take a break from quests for a while. However, don’t take a break for too long because you will have to start running your daily quests. Many WoW players use daily quests as a regular source of income, but if you know how to work the auction house, then you may not need the gold. But every WoW player does need to work on reputation with several of the factions throughout the game so they can earn special enchantments, epic mounts, and rare patterns for their professions. Here’s a quick reputation guide for WoW daily quests.

Sons of Hodir
The Sons of Hodir is probably the first faction you should work on reputation for. The Sons of Hodir are located in the Storm Peaks, and they offer enchantments for just about every class. The Sons of Hodir is probably the one faction that can benefit the largest cross-section of characters, and the enchantments they offer can’t be found anywhere else in the game. The shoulder enchants that come from the Sons of Hodir are certainly a must-have item for all characters. One thing to keep in mind about the Sons of Hodir is that it really is only necessary to have one character be exalted with them to get the shoulder enchants, which are bind-on-account. Any of your level 80 characters that are in exalted status with the Sons of Hodir can purchase these enchants for your other toons. However, remember that profession items like the tailoring pattern for the glacial bag and the jewel crafting design are bind-on-pick-up, which means if you have toons that follow those professions, you will still need to earn reputation for them.

Argent Crusade
The Argent Crusade is another large faction from the Wrath of the Lich King Expansion. This faction is a little bit less popular because the reputation rewards are more specific by class. Tanks will want to earn at least revered status with the Argent Crusade so they can get their tanking head enchant. Toons with the tailoring profession will want to reach exalted status so they can learn how to make Brilliant Spellweave. Other than these two items, there’s not a whole lot that can be earned from the Argent Crusade. In addition to completing WoW dailies to earn reputation with the Argent Crusade, you can also purchase the faction’s tabard and wear it in dungeons to earn reputation with the faction.

Knights of the Ebon Blade
There are also only a handful of characters that will want to seek out reputation with the Knights of the Ebon Blade through WoW dailies. Warlocks with the tailoring profession will want to learn how to make the abyssal bag, a 32-slot soul bag that only warlocks can use. Also melee DPS will want to be at least revered with the faction because it offers the best melee DPS head enchant in the game.

Kirin Tor
The Kirin Tor is another popular faction, and tailors will want to learn how to make Sapphire Spellthread from them. Also all casters will want to be able to purchase the head enchant from the Kirin Tor. The only WoW dailies that earn reputation with the Kirin Tor are the dungeon and heroic dungeon dailies and the cooking, jewel crafting, and fishing dailies available in Dalaran.

Divinity II: Ego Draconis - [Xbox 360] – Used

Divinity II: Ego Draconis is an action-oriented RPG with a traditional fantasy setting, in which players take the role of a dragon slayer who eventually becomes a dragon. Magic and melee combat proceeds in a real-time flow, but can be paused to allow the player to consider and change commands. Although from a behind-the-back perspective in full 3D, instead of an isometric viewpoint, the play of the game is in the target-and-click, hack-and-slash style of earlier action role-playing games in the series, Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity. Combat is won with strategy and tactics, and the game's storyline is determined by many moral choices, both significant and minor. The player's decisions lead different NPCs to become friends or enemies with the hero, closing off some possibilities while opening up others, leading to additional choices and consequences. Although following a tale of classic swords and sorcery, the game features no set class system, instead allowing players to freely steer the development of their characters by choosing the skills and abilities that appeal to them most. New possibilities become available when the hero gains the power to take to the sky in the form of a mighty dragon. In flight, combat has a quicker pace. Battle directly against land units is not possible, but the size, strength, speed, and special abilities of the dragon are at the player's command. As the story develops, players also gain control of a large tower keep that serves as the hero's main base. The game is designed as a single-player experience, but the hero can use necromancy construct an undead companion to fight loyally alongside, and can learn to craft collected herbs and found items into useful potions and equipment.

The Eye of Judgment [PlayStation 3]

Reminiscent of the holographic chessboard on the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars, The Eye of Judgment is a twist on classic card play found in such games as Magic and Pokémon. The game showcases three-dimensional characters fighting to the death on a three-by-three grid. By using the PlayStation Eye to scan the unique "cybercode" on the back of each card, players can watch their chosen creatures fight it out in onscreen environments that include lava, ice, and fire. To initiate a battle, gamers must gesture with their hand in front of the camera. The game view then shifts from the board to the actual environment the creatures are in and a duel begins. Throughout the game players will face such enemies as skeleton warriors, dragons, giant ships, goblins, war machines, and banshees. Although gamers begin with only 30 cards, 80 additional characters can be purchased. Players may battle alone offline or connect to the Internet and challenge other gamers all over the world. ~ Gracie Leach, All Game Guide

Reputation Daily Quest Guide

One of the most common reasons for WoW players to complete daily quests is to earn reputation with the various WoW factions. Reputation has a wide span, from hated and hostile all the way up to revered and exalted. Obviously you can’t buy from factions you are hated or hostile with. On the other hand, many WoW players don’t know that there are some vital bonuses that can be purchased from factions you are exalted with. Here’s a quick daily quest guide for the reputations most classes and races will find to be the most helpful.

Sons of Hodir Daily Quest Guide
The Sons of Hodir is one faction you should really begin working on reputation with before you even reach level 80. You can get plenty of experience from the Sons of Hodir quests, especially the prerequisite ones you must complete so you can be friendly with the faction. Players who are not friendly with the Sons of Hodir are not eligible for the daily quests, so you will have to complete the prerequisite quests before you can begin building reputation with them.

The Sons of Hodir daily quests are pretty average in difficulty. They involve killing a certain number of specific type of creature or collecting certain things from a specific area. Also don’t forget you can purchase reputation with the Sons of Hodir after you reach friendly status with them. You’ll gain reputation for every 10 Relics of Hodir you turn in to the Sons of Hodir Quartermaster. He will appear with a blue question mark above his head if you have enough to turn in for reputation. Also some players do sell the Relics of Hodir on the auction house, so it is possible to buy much of your way to exalted status if you have enough gold.

Knights of the Ebon Blade Daily Quest Guide
Another part of the game that has some important daily quests for reputation is the Knights of the Ebon Blade area. Jewel crafters need to get to exalted so they can learn the desk for the Glowing Twilight Opal. All melee DPS classes will want to at least get to revered status with the Knights of the Ebon Blade because they will then be eligible to purchase the Arcanum of Torment, which is one of the best head enchants for melee DPS in the game. Don’t forget that you can turbo-charge your reputation by purchasing and wearing the Knights of the Ebon Blade tabard when you reach friendly status. Wearing the tabard inside instances earns you reputation with the faction.

Argent Crusade Daily Quest Guide
Tanks will definitely want to work on their reputation with the Argent Crusade. This is because of the Arcanum of the Stalwart Protector, which is a great enchantment for a head slot item. Tailors also should raise their reputation with the Argent Crusade so they can learn the pattern for Brilliant Spellthread, which is a very common leg enchantment for healers and casters.

Lost in FarmVille?

If you're having trouble getting a hang of the way of things in FarmVille, you're not alone. I know of quite a few people who got into the game expecting it to be easy as pie and were quickly frustrated. In fact, I was one of them. So I went looking for a guide to help me master the farming life.

I actually tried quite a few of these guides, but not many of them had much helpful information to give. They were either designed for people who'd gotten all the way to the upper levels already, or they were severely outdated because of additions made to the game since they were released. FarmVille is a relatively new game and is still in the Beta stage, so a lot of improvements have been made to it in a short time and many of the guides on the market have not been updated to account for these changes.

So I finally broke down and bought FarmVille Secrets. This guide has been released pretty recently, so it's up to date on all of the latest advances in the game. I found it to be immensely helpful to me, and I was quickly raking in the coins and moving up in levels like you wouldn't believe.

In addition to the helpful tips, FarmVille Secrets also includes some handy charts and other resources that help you to compare items available in the Market and also helps you to plan out your spending and improvement strategies. I think you'll be as pleasantly surprised as I was when you read this guide and put the tips in it to use on your farm. I started to see results overnight almost. It's definitely a guide worth checking out if you're having trouble getting the hang of FarmVille, or if you just want to give your game an extra boost. Either way, you'll be happy you tried it.

Blazing Angels: Squadrons Of WWII Nintendo

Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII has players strapping into the cockpits of 42 authentic aircraft to fight in some of World War II's defining aerial battles. Cast in the role of a squadron commander, players and their wingmen will engage the enemy in Western Europe, across the Pacific Ocean, and over Pearl Harbor in a series of 18 missions. While special attention has been given to the look of each plane, from the P-51 Mustang and P-38 Lightning to the B-17 Flying Fortress and the British Spitfire, the action-oriented controls have been designed to be accessible for all skill levels. The game splits the controls between the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk, so players can do most of the flying with one hand while performing smaller tasks with the other.

Reasons to Keep Your Daily Quest Guide Handy

World of Warcraft is such a massive game that it is simply impossible to know and understand every single part of it. This is why having guides is so important for every WoW player. However, one part of the game that is often never utilized fully is the daily quests. After all, you may ask yourself why you would want to keep repeating the same quests every single day. Wouldn’t you rather go on and complete other quests? Probably not if those other quests don’t give help you achieve the objective you’ve set out to do.

Figuring Out Which Dailies to Do
Because there are so many daily quests available, it can be difficult to figure out which ones will actually help you. However, a daily quest guide like Dugi’s Dailies and Events Guide will help by calculating which dailies are the best ones for you. The guide will take into account the reputation you need and what kind of daily questing will help you move forward instead of back. For example, someone who just needs to farm for gold will be completing different daily quests than someone who is trying to get collectible gear and items from the Argent Tournament gear. It’s very important to understand which dailies will help us out the most and focus on those.

Understand Your Route
A daily quest guide will also help you formulate the quickest route possible for the things you need to know. Did you know it is actually possible to get all 25 of your daily quests finished in two hours or less?  A thorough understanding of your daily quest guide route will help you accomplish the most you possibly can in the least amount of time.

Make More WoW Gold
Another reason to keep a good daily quest guide around is to help you with your gold farming. Gold farming through dailies is a very stable source of income for your character. You will always know exactly how much gold you are going to make in one day because the dailies pay a set amount of gold per quest completion. Following a daily quest guide takes away all the risk associated with posting things on the auction house. The guide also takes away all the guesswork associated with daily quests.

The Best Way to Use a Daily Quest Guide
A daily quest guide is only as good as it is usable, so you will want to spend a little bit of time familiarizing yourself with it. You’ll need to figure out what your WoW objectives are, and then decide which set of WoW dailies you want to work on first. After all, you’ll probably make the rounds of many of the dailies eventually, and you just can’t work on everything all at the same time. Just choose the dailies that will benefit you the most. If you have daily quests for your profession, then those should definitely be at the top of your list. Otherwise, think first about reputation, then gold, and then exclusive items like special mounts and rare gear.

Lost in CityVille?

Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten [PlayStation 3]

Disgaea 4 continues Nippon Ichi's peculiar strategy role-playing series that combines anime-styled characters and tactical battles. The setting is the Netherworld, home to a prison called Hades, where human souls are converted into penguin-like minions called Prinnies. The story revolves around the trainer of the Prinnies, vampire Valvatorez, who is upset that management took his group away before they completed training and received their congratulatory sardines. This kicks off a battle for political control of Hades, with you in charge of Valvatorez and those sympathetic to his "cause." As with previous games in the series, the story is told primarily through cut-scenes in between turn-based combat sequences. The battle phase involves positioning your party of characters on a grid and then using weapons, magic, items, or actions (such as lift or throw) to defeat the opposition. You can also take refuge from battle in Valvatorez's base of operations, where you can create new party members, purchase equipment, and more. In addition to various visual and battle enhancements, Disgaea 4 also includes a new map generating mode lets players create and share maps with others online. Disgaea 4 is available as a standalone version or as part of a premium edition. The premium version of the game adds a full-color art book (paperback), a figurine of female character Fuka, and the original soundtrack, all housed within a custom designed box. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide

Do You Really Need a Guide For FarmVille?

I consider myself to be relatively well educated in the latest generation of social networking site games like Mafia Wars, Vampire Wars, and such. That's why when I started to see these FarmVille guides popping up all over the place I was kind of surprised. I mean, I can see why people might need some tips to get going in games like Mafia Wars, but FarmVille?

At this point though I hadn't actually played the game, but I didn't really think it could be all that complicated. I figured I should give it a shot though, just so that I could say I knew what I was talking about. And I was in for a rather big surprise. In no time, I was out of money and had no crops to plant. I have to admit, there way more to this game than I had anticipated.

I eventually managed to dig myself out of my original hole and out of the red, but I still wasn't making all that much progress. I started to think that maybe I needed to see what these guides were all about. I wasn't really expecting much, but since I hadn't done so well on my own either, I figured it was worth a shot.

So I picked up a guide called FarmVille secrets, and was pleasantly surprised by the tips I found in it. You wouldn't think there were so many ways you could screw up a virtual farm, but believe me, you can. I was still stumbling along at level 6 when I got the guide after 2 weeks of playing regularly. Now I'm the proud owner of a plantation and a level 26 Sultan of Soil. And I still look back at my guide from time to time. If you're having trouble getting into the swing of things in FarmVille, this guide is not a bad investment.

Is Buying a CityVille Guide Worth It?

When CityVille guides began popping up I was pretty sceptical about the whole thing. I had never actually played the game myself but I figured that there couldn't be all that much to it. How much strategy could really go into building a virtual city? When I saw all the hype about CityVille and the fact that there were these guides I figured there must be something to CityVille after all.

CityVille turned out to be much more complex and enjoyable than I had figured it would be. There are so many options, buildings, crops, businesses and additions that you have so many decisions to make. The more I got into playing CityVille the more I realized that the strategies involved were much more complex than I had expected. I did not want to spend all my time using trial and error to get the best possible city. I wanted someone to do all that for me so I went out and bought a guide.

The guide I ended up buying is called CityVille Secrets. I had heard some good things about it and it seemed like the most logical choice. CityVille Secrets is relatively new and they update it constantly so it contains the latest additions to the game and will add new updates as CityVille adds new features. I wasn't expecting too much from this guide as I have bought game guides in the past the have just been average. CityVille Secrets however, completely blew me away! I had no idea how they could have so much detailed information, secrets and strategies when CityVille is still new.

As soon as I began implementing the CityVille secrets, tips, and strategies I went from a level 13 to a level 35 in only a week of relatively little gameplay. There is a lot more going on in CityVille than meets the eye and if you don't do things properly you could be missing out on countless coins and experience while playing more than you need too. If you are interested in getting the most out of your CityVille experience then I recommend picking up a copy of CityVille Secrets today.

Profession Guide for Daily Quests on World of Warcraft

Daily quests are an important part of World of Warcraft, especially if you have any of the professions that require daily quests. Jewel crafting, cooking, and fishing all have daily quests for you to do, and there are important benefits from completing these daily quests each day.

Daily Quests for Cooking
The daily quests for cooking are the only way to learn certain recipes, including the recipe for fish feast, which is the one everyone always brings on raids. The fish feast increases attack power and spell power, which means it has a beneficial aspect for all raid members. There are daily quests for cooking in both Shattrath and Dalaran. The Shattrath dailies can drop certain recipes from the Barrel of Fish or Crate of Meat, which are given as rewards for the daily quests. The Dalaran cooking dailies reward you with 1-3 Dalaran Cooking Awards or some extra spices. The Dalaran Cooking Awards are used to purchase additional recipes. The Small Spice Bag reward also has a chance to drop additional rare recipes.

Daily Quests for Fishing
The fishing profession is paired best with cooking because you can get many of the materials you need for the recipes by fishing. You can pick up the daily quests for fishing from the fishing trainer in Dalaran, who is located near the fountain in the Eventide area. There are five different daily quests for fishing, and they may change every day, although they will be the same for everyone on your server. The reward for completing daily quests for fishing is a Bag of Fishing Treasures, which can drop everything from trash to epic gems. Just make sure you remember to sell your trash from this bag because some of those junk items are worth a decent amount of gold. The daily quests for fishing are a great way to earn some extra gold, especially if you are lucky enough to get an epic gem from your reward.

Daily Quests for Jewel Crafting
The daily quests for jewel crafting are available from Timothy Jones, the jewel crafting trainer in Dalaran. He’s located in the Magus Commerce Exchange, and there are six different jewel crafting daily quests he may offer you. The rewards for jewel crafting dailies are tokens which can be used to buy more jewel crafting designs.

Another important aspect of running daily quests for jewel crafting is reputation. There are several factions throughout the game that offer epic and rare gem designs. These designs can only be purchased by characters that have enough reputation with them. Running daily quests for these factions will help earn enough experience for jewel crafters to become eligible to purchase these epic and rare designs. Another way to earn reputation is by purchasing a tabard from the faction you want to earn reputation with. Just wear the tabard while you’re running dungeons, and you’ll earn reputation for that faction from each kill. However, you must be at least friendly with the faction before you are eligible to purchase the tabard from it.

Wii Sports Resort Nintendo

Wii Sports Resort is a sequel to the original Wii pack-in game, Wii Sports. The title's resort is set on a tropical island, where players may take part in a dozen sports-based activities involving archery, basketball, biking, canoeing, golf, jet skiing, skydiving, sword fighting, table tennis, water skiing, and flying disc games with a cute, Mii dog companion. As in the original Wii Sports, Resort players participate in the activities by performing the motions of the real-life sports while holding the movement-sensitive controllers, such as thrusting and parrying with a sword, taking a slicing swing at a Ping-Pong ball to put backspin on it, flicking the wrist to toss a spinning disc, or leaning side to side in order to steer with air resistance while skydiving. The initial release of Wii Sports Resort is packaged with the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which attaches to the bottom of the Wii Remote controller and provides more precise movement sensitivity than is available with the original Wii equipment.

Operation Flashpoint: Red River PC Games

Operation Flashpoint: Red River enlists players to lead a hostile force in a remote land, surrounded by serene mountains and deadly serious mission objectives. Building upon Dragon Rising, the series' high-def generation debut, additions in Red River include refinements to squad and enemy AI, a more accessible inventory system, and character class roles, with player-picked upgrades as experience is earned. The game is designed for four-player co-op, and even in single-player modes, a second player can drop in and out of the battle at any time. Although modern military shooter action is the substance of Red River, the violent combat is presented through the personal experiences of the main characters, a small team of Marine Corps infantrymen. The adventure plays out in the landlocked country of Tajikistan, bordered by Afghanistan to the south and China to the east. Leading in from earlier Operation Flashpoint briefings, threats from the People's Liberation Army play a significant role as the game's narrative develops, but much of the game takes place to the north and west, along the banks of the Vakhsh, known as the "Red River" to the people who live there. With shifting international tensions, the political-thriller plot line is broken into three separate acts. The mission begins with an assignment to secure an isolated dam system, in need of repair, against terrorist activity.
